DARK SKY FESTIVAL

MARCH 30 |  4:00-9:00 PM

Join us for our 5th Annual Dark Sky Festival. New York Times bestselling author Jo Marchant will travel from London to share with us about the relationships humanity has had with the night sky for thousands of years. Julia Wang with Cornell Lab or Ornithology will share with us about the impact light pollution has on migrating birds. And award-winning children’s book author Marsha Diane Arnold will do storytime at the Fountain Hills Library where she’ll read her sweet book, Lights Out.

Check out our dozens of exhibitors, get a close look at live nocturnal animals, take a virtual reality journey across the solar system, enjoy hands-on activities, tour the new Community Garden where bats have been spotted pollinating at night, and more. Fill your belly at the food truck court and the beer & wine garden. Then, end the evening with Fountain Hills’ biggest star party and cosmic laser tour of the year.
